
Wanderers stormed into the next round of the EA Sports Cup after an emphatic win against Drogheda Utd at Hunky Dorys Park last night.
After a scoreless first half the hosts went into the lead on 58 minutes when former Seagull John Flood netted. Wanderers equalised through debutant Mark O'Brien 2 minutes later.
Wanderers hit the front with 10 minutes left when Mark O'Brien again hit the net. Substitute Chris Shields got the Seagulls third in injury time
