The Morning Show, Monday 19th April

Monday 19th April
The Morning Show with Declan Meehan

The on-going travel disruptions caused by volcanic dust was the main topic covered on today’s Morning Show with Declan Meehan. We got an update from Met Eireann and Former Chief Pilot with British Airways, John Leahy. We also heard from Musician Paddy Cole and Wicklow resident Brian Kennedy, both are abroad and currently en route home using alternative travel arrangements.

On today’s Morning Show Declan discussed the ghost towns and the options available with Minister Ciaran Cuffe, Respond communications officer, Aoife Walsh and President of the Irish Planning Institute Gerrry Sheeran, we heard advice on how to best dress for your curvy body shape from Escape Boutique’s Sorcha Murphy and George Jacob joined us in studio to talk about this years Bray Jazz Festival. The festival will take place on the May bank holiday weekend, for more information see www.brayjazz.com

The Morning show also featured an interview about project maths. Declan spoke to a director of curriculum and assessment for the NCCA about Project maths and also heard comment from maths teachers Eileen Scanlon and John Brennan.
