The continuing passport office fiasco was just one of the topics covered on today’s Morning Show with Declan Meehan. Declan heard a live update report from reporter Sinead Hussey on Molesworth street and we got comment from FG deputy Billy Timmins who met with the Head of the Passport Office at yesterdays Oireachtas Committee meeting.

On today’s Morning Show we discussed today’s closure of Welfare offices with Manager of Wicklow Trade Union Centre for the Unemployed, Patricia Shortt, heard why there is a delay opening the road from Rathnew to Wicklow from local Councillor Conal Kavanagh and we got the good news that Limerick pubs will now be allowed to open on Good Friday of this year from Independent Councillor John Gilligan.

The show also featured a discussion about living with mental illness, recovering schizophrenic Richard Magee talked to Declan about how he started to feel better, we also heard from local councillor Simon Harris and got advice for people struggling with mental illness from National Projects Manager with Shine, Kahlil Thompson Coyle.
