The Morning Show, Monday 15th March

Monday 15th March
The Morning Show with Declan Meehan

The re-iternation of Cardinal Sean Brady not to resign following revelations that he failed to report complaints of clerical sexual abuse to Gardai was the main topic covered on today’s Morning Show with Declan Meehan. We heard comment from abuse survivor Andrew Madden and Religious correspondent with the Irish Times Patsy Mc Garry. We also heard an RTE interview with Cardinal Brady.

On today’s Morning Show Declan got an update on the unread xray story at Tallaght hospital from Tallght Action group spokesperson, Triona Murphy, discussed the weekends rugby win with former rugby International and Shane Byrne and heard about illegal dumping problems around the County from PURE Project Manager, Ian Davis. You can report illegal dumping in County Wicklow by contacting PURE 1850 365 121.

The show also featured an interview with Sunday Tribune, news and security editor and crime author, Mick Mc Caffrey about his latest book “Cocaine Wars” and an in-studio chat about living a more environmentally friendly life with PR consultant and author Tony O’ Brien. He also spoke to Declan about his new book “Going Green”.
