Willie O’ Dea’s resignation as Minister of Defence was the main topic that dominated today’s Morning Show with Declan Meehan. We heard heated reaction to the news from Local Councillors Simon Harris and Pat Casey and Deputy Liz Mc Manus and Minister Dick Roche. We also heard comment from Limerick Live 95 reporter Dennis Tierney and Sunday Business Post Political Editor Pat Leahy and finally, we heard a range of varied views from early morning Bray and Greystones commuter listeners.
