A new ESRI report on the changing structure of the family was just one of the topics covered today’s Morning Show with Declan Meehan. We heard details from ESRI economist and co-author of the report Dr Pete Lunn and reaction from Chief executive of the Family Support Agency, Pat Bennet.

The Morning show also featured an update on the Government’s response or lack of to the state of County Wicklows damaged roads, a discussion on the increase in rush hour traffic between AA roadwatch spokesperson Conor Faughnan and Deputy Ciaran Cuffe and the latest step on dealing with headshops in County Wicklow.

Morning Show Reporter Laura Wood toured Rathdrum and checked in with Declan throughout this morning’s show. She spoke to Chairperson of the Rathdrum development assoc Jimmy Olahan and Tommy Mc Grath of Mc Grath’s Hardware about the changing face of Rathdrum and she caught up with Fiona Gammell of K9 Club Kennels who talked about the roads in Rathdrum area and what has been done to help the situation since the bad weather. Laura also interviewed Denis Carter, Chairperson of the Rathdrum Business Association and discussed businesses in the town and the role of the council.
