Sporting fingal V Bray Wanderers- Team News

Bray Wanderers tavel to the Morton Stadium Santry tomorrow afternoon to take on Sporting Fingal in the Ford FAI Cup semi-final K.O 4;05.

Team news for Wanderers is as follows.

Captain Derek Pender will miss today as he serves a one match ban, following four yellow cards. Manager Eddie Gormley is awating the results of late fitness tests for three of his players, central defender Derek Foran, Winger Gary Mc.Cabe and defender Gary Cronin all of whom missed Tuesday’s draw with Dundalk.

Speaking during the week Gormley said " We were all bitterly disappointed after Tuesday night as we felt we did enough to win the game, it was a difficult night for us all. Nobody can question the commitment from all the players,but unfortunately we weren't getting the bounce of the ball". He added "We are all looking forward to Sunday, it is a massive game for all the players, they will all work exceedingly hard for the Club to try and get to the Final. We will leave no stone unturned to give ourselves the best opportunity of getting to the Final".

Bray's path to Semi-Final, in round three Bray beat Bluebell Utd, 2-1 at Carlisle Grounds with goals from Paul Byrne and a Gary Mc.Cabe penalty.

In round four Bray overcame Tralee Dynamos 2-0 at Carlisle Grounds with goals from John Flood and Dave Webster.
In the quarter Final against Longford at Flancare Pk. the game ended at 0-0,and in the replay at Carlisle Grounds Bray were victorious on a 2-1 scoreline the Bray goals came from John Flood and Chris Shields.

Bray Wanderers V Dundalk Team News

Bray Wanderers welcome Dundalk to the Carlisle Grounds for this crucial League of Ireland Premier Division Clash .(Tuesday 20th October K.O 7;45)

If Bray loose this game and Drogheda beat Galway the Seagulls will be as good as relegated.

Team News is as follows.
Gary Mc. Cabe who limped out of Friday's defeat with a recurrence of his ankle injury is a certain non starter for the visit of Dundalk.Derek Foran who sat out Friday's game with a groin injury is once again set to sit this on out.Otherwise Eddie Gormley has a full squad to pick from.

Speaking yesterday Gormley said " I was disappointed with the result on Friday night,we probably created the better chances but once again we didn't take them, we need to start taking these chances".He added "It will be tough against Dundalk,but if the players give as much as they have been giving me we will be in with a chance,but its crucial we start taking the chances that we are creating".
