•We discussed the referendum with Councillors Tommy Cullen and Pat Vance and bestselling author Melissa Hill dropped in to talk to us about her latest book “The Charm Bracelet”.

•Money Doctor John Lowe talked to us about the collapse of Bloxhams Stockbrokers and Mary Rose Burke, Director of Pharmacy Boots Ireland talked to us about their new price reducing plans for prescription drugs. Mark Brennock, spokesperson for the Referendum Commission explained the fiscal treaty.
11- 12pm
•We discussed the future of bees with National Biodiversity Data Centre, Ecologist Dr Una Fitzpatrick and Local GP Dr Ciara Kelly explained why older singles can be a bit “reckless” when it comes to practising safe sex. We were also joined in studio by East Coast Physio Avril Barrett who gave advice on dealing with “good weather” gardening and golf injuries.

•We heard reaction to household charge penalties and the possibility of 8 TD’s being cut from the Dail from listeners and we discussed Azerbaijan with Colm O’ Gorman, Exective Director Amnesty International. We were also joined by reps from the County’s five Cancer Support Centres and the Wicklow Hospice Foundation to hand over the €24, 882.89 that was raised at this years Wicklow Wide Coffee Morning on April 20th.

•We were joined in studio by Brain Kennedy who talked about his music career, childhood, Eurovision, reality TV, new album and upcoming gigs and performed for us.
