On today’s show local GP Dr Ernan Gallager told is why parents should be wary of medicine measurements, we returned to our discussion about the future of Anglo with local councillors Pat Casey and Derek Mitchell and News of the World Crime Correspondent, Paul Williams spoke to us about the arrest of John Traynor in the Netherlands.

Today’s morning show also featured a discussion about Tony Blair following the release of his autobiography. We heard comment on the former British PM from Cllr Richard Boyd Barrett and Minister Dick Roche. We also heard analysis of his political career from political analyst, Susan Philips and Cllr Kathleen Kelleher talked to us about the relationship between the UK leader and former President George Bush.

The future of Anglo Irish bank just one of the topics covered on today’s Morning Show with Declan Meehan. We heard an update on the situation from Money Doctor John Lowe and also got comment from Green Party Councillor Ciaran O’ Brien and Fine Gael Councillor Irene Winters.

Today’s morning show also featured a discussion about the Governments proposal to force dole claimants to do work in their community or face losing their benefits. We heard reaction to this from Wicklow Trade Union Centre for the Unemployed Manger, Patricia Shortt and Irish Rural Link Chief Executive, Seamus Boland. We also got reaction to the proposal from FG Deputy Billy Timmins and Mayor of Bray, Cllr David Grant.

We heard comment on the possible options for the future of the financial institution from Financial Consultant Liam Croke. We also spoke to Political Reporter, Padraig Gallagher about recent comments made by the Green Party about Anglo.

On this morning’s show we also heard tribute to the late Mick Lally from Author and former Glenroe actress Kate Thompson. TV correspondent Anne Kennedy and John Toner, Glenroe Open Farms also gave their reaction to the sad news.
